This book describes, from a practical point of view, how to manage cases of dermatitis and otitis (frequent reasons for consultations in veterinary medicine) through case studies that include common conditions that represent diagnostic or management challenges, as well as less common diseases, such as the hepatocutaneous syndrome, in which recognition of the cutaneous lesions helps us suspect the condition and come to a definitive diagnosis. Since the identification and distribution of the lesions are important to diagnose dermatological diseases, many images have been included to aid in recognising and learning about these skin diseases.
